Insulation & Drywall

Well...they're cruising right along, yesterday they installed the insulation and today they started drywall. It looks a lot different with the insulation in there (as well as less drafty). They sealed every seam in the house with silicon caulking before the insulation went in. The guys are finishing the siding today (except for the area around our office window which hasn't come in yet).














Skies are blue but today is quite a brisk spring day - it was snowing this morning!




























They put R38 in the ceiling, R21 in the walls and after they button up the ceiling, they'll blown in R49 in the attic. This will definitely help with heating & cooling!




























The dining room window went in today.


















Here's a pic of the silicon caulking job they did through-out the house. I'm not sure if this is code but it certainly will help keep us dry and warm!
