Foundation is Done (we think)!

Today we went out and took some pictures of the foundation which looks completed now. I think the next step is finishing the garage floor which includes filling up that front box volume, packing more gravel and pouring & leveling the concrete.




























This is the front left corner of the house where the front porch will be poured. The volume here also needs to be filled in, packed and concreted.














This is the back left corner again where the dining room will be. You can see the footings inside this main area of the house. I think these footings will support the main bearing walls of the home. You can tell how much crawl space there is now. The dirt will be back filled on the outside of foundation up to the top of the vent shown here (they will put coverings in front of the vent that look like mini window wells that keep the dirt out).
