We were so excited to learn that Copper Basin was going to start digging for our new home and today marked the start of what will be a 3 month process. Joshah left for Costa Rica early this morning (hope you're having fun honey!) and wasn't able to go to the property, so I made sure to get several pictures. Upon arriving, I was able to meet Cameron. He is the contractor for Copper Basin. Everyone we've talked to has had only good things to say about him. He was very personable and greeted me with excitement! He said they had spray painted the outline of the house and would be digging that out. In a couple of the pictures, you can see two spray painted posts (close to where the backhoe is working). That is the beginning of the garage. I'm not sure how many days it will take them to complete this step, but we're looking forward to seeing how it progresses. I will be visiting the site again on Sunday and will post more photos then.
