Windows & Landscape

They finished HVAC, electrical and plumbing this week. They also got the front porch poured, outside trim painted, windows installed, back patio gravel packed and the property leveled all this week. They were finishing up the electrical this weekend when we stopped by. Early this week the electrical and framing inspection will happen and then insulation will go in. Sara and I bought some insulation for the garage walls this weekend at Home Depot - the upgrade to have them do it was way too much so I'm going to go in and install it some time this week.














The property is starting to feel a little bigger now with it all groomed and looking good - they'll bring in a couple of feet of top soil to put over this clay stuff. The windows really help make the house look more complete too!
















You can see they're ready to pour our back patio which I was told will have one step down. Eventually, I'll probably build a wood deck out over it anyway. The back yard is looking good - we still have a few feet to trim off the berm in the right side of the picture. The slider was supposed to go in but the wrong one got ordered - it'll probably go in early this week because they're going to start wrapping the Tyvek.
